Frances Huskey

Thula Frances Belk Huskey, 76, passed away at her home on Monday, Aug. 31, 2015. She was a graduate of Marion County High School Class of 1957. She was a member of Communication Workers of America and retired in December 1989 from AT&T. She followed all sports, especially the Atlanta Braves and the Tennessee VOLS. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.T. "Tom" and Mary Pauline Belk, brothers, Author Thomas Jr., O.C. , and James Belk; and her sister, Mildred Belk. Survivors include her daughter, Cindy (Donnie) Phillips, of Falls of Rough, Ky.; son, Mark Huskey, of Jasper, Tenn.; granddaughter, Emile Hobbs, of Dunlap, Tenn.; her little dog, Lucas; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home chapel at 4 p.m. CDT Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, with Brother Roger Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Havrons Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. CDT today, Sept. 2, 2015, and from 2 p.m. CDT, until time of the service on Thursday.
