Steve Vinson

John Stephen "Steve" Vinson, 65, passed away Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015. He had worked as a coal miner and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruby Moore Vinson; and sister, Charlsie Vinson Rowland. Steve is survived by his sons, Virgil McNeece, Troy Vinson and Brain Vinson; daughter, Sandy Cash; brothers, Larry (Marion) Vinson, Bill (Dollie) Vinson and Johnny (Susan) Roberson; sisters, Emma Pemberton and Barbara Chambers; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. CDT today, Sept. 4, 2015, with services to follow in the funeral home chapel with Brother Arron Cagle.
