Prentice Daniel

Prentice Leon Daniel, 69, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016. He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas and was of the Baptist faith. He was a self-employed contractor in the Heating & Air business for most of his life and loved fishing and playing the guitar. He was a loving and devoted brother, father and grandfather, that will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Ina Lee Daniel, Sr.; and brother, Marcus Lowe Daniel. Survivors include his children, Debbie Born, of Chickamauga, Ga., Deanna Marie Daniel, of Rossville, Ga., Prentice Leon Daniel, Jr., of Graysville, Tenn., and Lauren Daniel, of Ider, Ala.; two brothers, Thurman Daniel, Jr. of Soddy Daisy, Tenn., and Alton Ray Daniel, of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.; sister, Mescal Keith, of Flintstone, Ga.; five grandchildren, Taylor Cochrane, Brayden Born, Kyla Daniel, Savannah Hixson and Kinsley Daniel; several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hawkins Cemetery, Rising Fawn, Ga.
