Bertha Yates

Bertha Seals Tabors Yates, 78, of Chattanooga and formerly of Dunlap, Tenn., passed away Monday, Aug. 22, 2016. Mrs. Yates was a loving and caring person and was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Louise Seals; husband, Eddie Lee Yates; daughter, Patricia Jones; brother, Cleveland Seals. She is survived by her daughters, Trevia Shipley, of Red Bank, Rita Jolly, Pell City, Ala., Rosa Croft, of Chattanooga; sister, Ellen Brown, of Dalton; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew. The family will receive friends 10 a.m. till 1 p.m., Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, at the funeral home. Graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. EST, Aug. 26, 2016, at McGlothen Cemetery in Dunlap, TN with Bro. Dennis Chambers officiating.
