Charles Jackson "Bud" Cox, 98, of Hixson, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016 Charles was a member of the Alpine Baptist Church. He was a member of the Red Bank Loins Club. Charles was a longtime owner and builder in the community. Charles was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie, several brothers and sisters. Charles is survived by a special friend, Conner Smith. Special thanks to his neighbors for their help and kindness, and to Dr. Walter Parkhurst. Visitation with the friends will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, at Lane Funeral Home.
