Lillian Bodkin

Lillian T. Bodkin, 96, passed away Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, in a local hospital. She was a life-long resident of Rossville and retired from Lovemans. Lillian was a member of the East Ridge Church of Christ where she was fond of her friends in the Young At Heart group. She enjoyed working in her yard and taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Edward Bodkin Sr.; brothers, Gurney Tucker and Edwin Tucker; and sisters, Lola Rowland and Virginia Tucker. Survivors include her son, Eddie (Carol) Bodkin Jr. of Ooltewah; daughters, Ann (Jim) Guider of Rossville, Jean (James) Tidmore of Rossville, and Sheri (Joey) Mullican of Ringgold; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Interment will be 2 p.m. Monday at Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends noon-3 p.m. Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
