Scott Pyle

Scott LeRoy Pyle, 60, of Harrison, passed away, Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, in Minot, N.D. He was born at Mercy Hospital in Long Island, N.Y. on Feb. 8, 1955. Scott was employed by Matrix Service Company as an Electrical Field Engineer at the time of his death. Scotts favorite thing to do was to spend time with his family. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren more than anything, and would do anything for them. His family will remember him for his strength, love, and wry sense of humor. Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Roy Pyle, Molly Castle Pyle, Richard Francis Santa Maria, and Cecilia Gallo Santa Maria; and father, Jack LeRoy Pyle. He is survived by his mother, Eugenia Pyle Schillaci; wife, Cynthia Pyle; children, Colin (Amy) Pyle, Brandon (Laura) Pyle, and Courtney Pyle; precious grandchildren, Emily Newell, Jacob Pyle, Rylan Hill, Brody Pyle, and sweet Little Miss P who will arrive in June; sister, Patricia (Rick) Holder; several nieces; and nephews. The family would like to thank Cleavland Owers, Lauren Whisenant, Roger Cantu and other Matrix team members who stayed by Scotts side until his family could arrive in North Dakota. The love and compassion they gave Scott in his time of need brings our family peace of mind to know that he was never alone. Services will be held Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, at 1 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. Visit www.heritagechattanooga.com to share words of comfort to the family. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and Friday, from noon -1 p.m., at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road.
