Dan Varner

Dan Ray Varner CLEVELAND Dan Ray Varner,77, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a farmer, fireman and cabinet maker. Dan loved woodworking, history, hiking, traveling and birdwatching. Most of all, Dan was a family man who loved to spend time with his family. He attended the First United Methodist Church in Cleveland. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Varner. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Varner, of Cleveland, Tenn.; two daughters and sons in law, Christine L. (Buddy) Fulbright, of Lehigh Acres, Fla. and Lisa M. (Joseph) Scofield, of Cleveland, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Joseph H. Scofield II (Tarra), Jarod D. Scofield (Nikki) and Kayla J. Fulbright; two great-grandchildren, Kinsley C. Scofield and Emma J. Scofield; brother, Roy (Linda) Varner, of Ocala, Fla, and sister, Linda (Ray) Hunt, Wellington, Fla.; several nieces; and nephews. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Ohio.
