Napoleon Goins

Napoleon Goins, 82, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, in MeSun Hospice, in Lawrenceville, Ga. He was formerly employed for many years as a Forklift Driver with Mueller Company. He was preceded in death by parents, Eddie and Elizabeth Seay Goins; wife, Jessie Mae Goins; brothers, Ernest Goins, James Goins, and Donzell Goins; sister, Mary Alexander; and son, Napoleon Goins, Jr. Survivors include son, Alan Goins, of Chattanooga; daughter, Gail (Langford) Hutcherson, of Atlanta, Ga.; brother, Fred (Ella) Goins, of Huntsville, Ala.; sisters, Louise Goins, Edna P. Ryans, and Evelyn Goins, all of Huntsville, Ala.; grandchildren, Langford Hutcherson, II and Terrence J. Hutcherson, both of Atlanta, Ga., Erica (Devin) Cotton, Gary Davis, Nedra Davis, Tristan Ford, and Cornelius Odum, all of Chattanooga, Melissa (Andre) Hughey, and Bria Goins, all of Columbia, S.C.; 15 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, dear friend, Doretha Williams of Chattanooga and many other friends. Visitation was Thursday, after 12:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral was Friday, at 1 p.m. at East Third Street Church of Christ with Brother John R. Taylor Sr., as the eulogist. Burial in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
