Blonnelle Leftwich

WARNER ROBINS — In the early morning hours of Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, Blonnelle Leftwich, 78, went to be with the Lord. Blonnelle was born on March 3, 1938 in Fort Valley, Ga. She worked at Fort Valley State College now University for 15 years. Blonnelle then moved to Chattanooga, where she worked as an Administrative Assistant for Combustion Engineering from 1973 until 1990. She was a devoted Christian, continuously letting God’s light shine through her life. In her spare time, Blonnelle enjoyed working puzzles and the word scrambles in the newspaper and she loved to cook. She had a good sense of humor and loved to make others smile. Her beloved husband, Hilliard B. Leftwich; parents, Thomas and Odessa Kendrick; brother, Wendell Kendrick; twin sisters, Florence and Celeste Kendrick, preceded her in death. Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Cheryl McLean (Alder), of Warner Robins; Aubrey Leftwich (Sabrina), of Riverdale; Marcus Leftwich, Randall Leftwich (Eunice) and Isaiah Leftwich, all of Chattanooga; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Edward T. Kendrick (Eva), of Ft. Valley; Geraldine Kendrick, of Warner Robins; Sidney L. Kendrick (Lila), of Ft. Valley; Linda Murden of Bonaire; a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
