Kate Goforth

Kate Goforth, 87, of Hixson, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016. Kate retired as a Registered Nurse from Erlanger. She was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church and was a member of the Eastern Star. Kate was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph A. Goforth; parents, Auther and Nell Creasman. Kate is survived by her daughter, Sharon Goforth, of Hixson; sons, Stanley Goforth, of Hixson, and Frank Goforth, of Cleveland, Ohio; sisters, Shirley Whaley, of Cleveland, Tenn,, and Sonya Buckner, of Lonoir City, Tenn. The family will receive friends on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016, from 2 to 6 p.m., at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace. A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
