Buford Bradford Sr.

Buford Eugene Bradford Sr., 88, of Dunlap, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016, at his home. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and member of Dunlap Masonic Lodge Post 693. Buford was preceded in death by his wife, Seawillow Smith Bradford; parents, James Wesley and Viola Pearl Jones Bradford; He had six brothers, all deceased; and five sisters, two of which preceded him. Survivors include his sons, Buford Eugene (Doris) Bradford Jr., James (Vickie) Bradford, and Walter Bradford; sisters, Mildred Parks, Addie Freeman, and Viola Williams; grandchildren, Timmy Bradford, Jeremy Bradford, Chandra Cribbs, Wesley Bradford, Joshua Bradford, Jared Bradford, and Hannah Hickey; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. CDT Thursday Sept. 29, 2016, in the Ewton Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Terry Barker officiating. Burial will follow in Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
