Chadwick Stone

OLD FORT — Chadwick “Chad” Byron Stone, 48, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017. A native of Ringgold, Ga., he has lived in the Old Fort area since 1999. He was a former employee of Cleveland Tire and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Byron Stone and brother, Anthony “Tony” Stone. He is survived by his ex-wife and best friend, Linda Stone, of Cleveland, Tenn.; two daughters, Rena Stone, of Old Fort, Tenn., and Casey Stone, of Cleveland, Tenn.; mother, Joyce Johnson Gresham, of Bryant, Ala.; sister, Joy Howard, of Old Fort, Tenn.; four grandchildren; one niece. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday April 4, 2017, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dennis Chambers officiating. Interment will follow at Burning Bush Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from noon to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold, Ga.
