Gary Tallent

DAYTON — Gary Carl Tallent, 69, passed away on April 19, 2017. He was born on Jan. 29, 1948, to the late Carl and Leela Tallent. Gary was a lifelong resident of this area. He enjoyed watching football, but especially reading his bible. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Carl and Leela Tallent. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, one son, Greg Tallent (Patty); one daughter, Jennifer Tallent; grandchildren, Tyler Tallent (Sarah), Nick Tallent, and Blake Hodges; great-granddaughter, Brooke Tallent; former wife and special friend, Carolyn Tallent; cousin, Dorothy Adams, of Kentucky. In addition to these, Gary leaves behind extended family members and friends. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
