Narcia Wilson

PELHAM — Narcia M. (Brazile) Wilson, 87, passed away at her home Sunday, April 23, 2017. Mrs. Wilson was born in Tullahoma, Tenn., and lived all of her life in Pelham. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Norris and Biddie S. (Kilgore) Brazile; one sister, Edna L. (Brazile) Conn and her loving husband, Wayne Kenneth Wilson. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also had two special furry friends, Little Bit and Scooter. She was a factory worker and then became a very dedicated and caring beautician for several years. Kenneth and Narcia were faithful members of the Pelham United Methodist Church. They were both very active members of the Eastern Star after they joined in 1959. Narcia was Chaplain twice, Electra twice and Ruth once. They were University of Tennessee football season ticket holders for 40 plus years and both loved all of the UT sports and the Atlanta Braves. Narcia also loved going fishing with Kenneth and playing a few rounds of golf together, but her favorite hobby was working in her flowers outside in her yard. Narcia will be sadly missed by all of her family, friends and neighbors. Visitation is today, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, April 27, 2017, from noon until 2 p.m., at the Pelham United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. central time at the church, with Rev. Theresa Johnson and Rev. Joe Rutherford officiating. Interment will be at Warren Cemetery.
