Margie Martin

OXFORD, Fla. — Margie H. Martin, 81, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017. Mrs. Martin was born July 30, 1935, in Chickamauga, Ga., to Homer and Mabel (Ackins) Haney. She was a retired cosmetologist and enjoyed playing Bingo and going to auctions. Margie moved here in 2011 from Chickamauga and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Oxford. Survivors include her loving husband of 25 years, Rudolph; children, Marty Orr (Maryann Marsh), of Oxford and Karen Hall (Mike), of Ocklawaha, Fla.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. today in the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2017, in the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Oxford.
