Donald Turney

Donald Turney, 79, of Ooltewah, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017, at his home. He was the son of the late Fred and Alberta Turney. He was of the Protestant faith and was a U.S. Navy Submarine veteran. Donald loved the outdoors, working with computers, and most of all loved his grandchildren. Donald was also preceded in death by his brother, Jack Alexander Turney. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Evelyn Wreford Turney; daughter, Deborah (Jeffery) Cramer; son, Gary (Amanda) Turney; brother, Paul Samuel Turney Sr.; sister, Linda Marie Storey; grandchildren, Seth Ellis Turney, Dylan Scott Cramer, Emily Annette Cramer. Graveside memorial services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Rev. Eugene Kilgore officiating.
