Patty Dean Phillips King, 77, of South Pittsburg, Tenn., died Friday, Aug. 4, 2017 at her home. The daughter of the late Wheeler & Carrie Ann Pickett Phillips, she was a longtime employee of Wal-Mart in Kimball, Tennessee and a member of Grace Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Carrie Turner; brothers, J. W. and Kimo Phillips; and sister, Judy Carol Phillips. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gene King; daughters, Donna (Steve) Turner of South Pittsburg, and Cindy (Landon) Pickett of Ringgold, Ga.; grandchildren, Chase (Ashley) Turner, Matthew (Bailey) Turner, Ciara Biggs, Dustin Houston, Dakota Houston, Cassie Pickett, John Mark (Chloe) Lofty, Jamie (Brooke) Reed, Joe Tate, and Marcus Sacks; great-grandchildren, Clara Kate Turner, Brenley Houston, Kymber Lofty, River Lofty, Jaxon Reed, Ethan Reed, and Gabriel Tate; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017 at 6 p.m. Central time at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until service time.
