Gregory Mayes

Gregory Mayes, 58, of Chattanooga, passed away on Aug. 11, 2017. He was a graduate of Chattanooga High School, class of 1976. He was employed at the Double Tree. Survivors include his mother, Betty Mayes; son, Jarvis Jones; brothers, Eddie, Reginald and Benjamin Mayes; significant other, Verna Strickland; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held Friday, Aug. 18, at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Rosena Billingsley officiating. Interment: Highland Cemetery. The body will lie-in-state after noon today, Aug. 17.
