Gary Dobbs

Gary James Dobbs Sr., 72, of East Ridge, Tenn., passed away on Friday, Aug. 18, 2017. Gary was born in Michigan to the late Frank and Dorothy Dobbs, he loved wood working, and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Dobbs; children, Sherry Burchard, Gary (Sandy) Dobbs Jr., Kimberly (Danny) Ray, and Frankie (Ethan) Parrott; brother, Kenny Dobbs, of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister, Joyce Morrison of LaFollette, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 22, at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Raymond Sloan officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
