FLAT ROCK — John Rance Helton III, 53, died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017, at DeKalb Regional Medical Center. Funeral services are Sunday at 7 p.m. CT at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jerry Lockhart officiating. Family will receive friends from noon until service time. Survivors include son, John Rance Helton IV; father, John Rance Helton II; mother, Eva Anita Porter Helton; brother, Mitchell Helton (April); nieces and nephews, Shay Rankhorn (Jason), Whitney Annette Eustice, Nora Rose Eustice, Elijah Eustice, Chelsey, Matthew and Wystt Ottinger, Taylor and Bethany McCrary, Vince York, Grace Smith, Elizabeth Vandver; and brother-in-law, Gary Eustice. Rance was a song writer and musician and was preceded in death by his sister, Tammy Annette Helton Eustice, brother, Ronald Earl Helton, nephew, Easton Edward Eustice.
