Leroy James

Leroy James, 75, of Soddy-Daisy went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017. Leroy was born and raised on Soddy Mountain. He ran a wrecker service and tire store for many years. He loved his family, his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a member of Christ Family Church. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ruth and Samuel “Dalkie” James. Survivors include his brothers, Darrell (Gayle), Kenny (Charlotte); sisters, Faye White, Geneene Gann, DeDe Daughtery, Donna (Don) Clingan, and Shelia (Terry) Smith. The funeral service will be at noon, Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with the bishop Calvin Nunley officiating. Interment will follow in Millsaps Cemetery.
