Lawrence Penn

Rev. Lawrence Edward Penn, 74, of Atlanta, passed away Jan. 27, 2017. He was born Nov. 26, 1942, in Chattanooga, and a graduate of Howard High School. Lawrence accepted Christ at a young age and answered his call to ministry at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Chattanooga. In 1969, he relocated to Atlanta, with his family and continued his ministry. Lawrence retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 23 years, and was employed at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Funeral services were Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, in Decatur, Ga. The Penn Family.
