HENEGAR — Bobby Dale Morelock, 68, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, at Crestwood Medical Center. Funeral service is today, at 2 p.m., at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Rodney Dalton and Bro. Ronald Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in New Home Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time. Survivors include wife, Essie Bearden Morelock; children, Kim Lockhart (Joe), Bradley Morelock (Mitzi), Brittany Jackson (Philip), Rachael Slayback (Scottie), Cameron Kerby (Valerie); grandchildren, Skylar Wilson(Derek), Mariah Morelock, Elijah Jackson, James Kerby, mother, Doris Smith; great-grandchild, Collins Wilson; brother, Roger Morelock (Patsy). Mr. Morelock had worked as a welder at Heil Industies and was an avid Alabama fan. He was preceded in death by father, Leonard Smith; brother, Jimmy Morelock; and sister, Sue Walls.
