Eunice Green

Eunice Lucille Henderson Greene, 83, of Chattanooga, Tenn., experienced the joy of entering into the presence of the Lord on Feb. 23, 2017. She lived her early years in Eutaw, Ala., and was a longtime resident of Jackson, Miss. She was a faithful member of Broadmoor Baptist Church where she served in the music ministry, children’s ministry, various committees, and as church hostess. Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Henderson Sr., of Eutaw, Ala. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 63 years, Reuben C. Greene; her daughter, Dianne Greene, of Chattanooga; her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Denise Greene, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; grandchildren, Ryan Greene and Christen (Jason) Robertson; and great-granddaughters, Isabella, Grace-Garland, and Karis. She is also survived by her sister, Jane (Grady) Friday, of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; her brother, Wilson (Charline) Henderson Jr., of Columbia, Tenn.; brother-in-law, James (Jackie) Greene; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Hamilton Funeral Home chapel on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
