Jim Pagliaro

James A. Pagliaro, 84, passed away Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, at his home in Ooltewah, Tenn. He was born May 24, 1932, in Boston, Mass., to the late Armando Pagliaro and Sophie Mazzei. He was a longtime resident of Lafayette, Ga. He was preceded in death by his fiancé, Shirley Scott. He is survived by his three children, James A. Pagliaro Jr., Karen Pagliaro, and Linda Wiggins; his grandchildren, James Wiggins III (deceased), Nicole Biggs, Kyle Pagliaro, and Matteo Pagliaro. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Coral Sea. After being honorably discharged, he worked in the field of engineering for several years then set his sights on becoming a stock broker. Jim was a successful independent financial adviser for many years. He took great delight on his property in Lafayette which he developed from raw untouched land. Jim enjoyed hosting family and friends, while introducing everyone to his beloved farm pets. Join us at the Elsie Holmes Nature Park in Ringgold, Ga., Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, from 2 to 4 p.m. for a "Gathering of Remembrance." Let's come together and share our fondest memories of Jim.
