Esther Harris

LaFAYETTE — Esther Irene Harris, 81, passed away Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Harris; son, Jasper Harris; and sister, Linda Gray Hardin. Survivors are her daughter, Debra (Steve) Heatherly, of Ringgold; sons, Charles Allen (Debra) Harris, of Rossville, Jerry (Kathy) Harris, of Chickamauga, David Harris, of Ringgold, William (Joni) Harris, of Virginia; brother, Ralph “Sonny” (Bobbi Jean) Tucker, of N.C.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017, at 2 p.m., with Tim Padgett and Mike Epps officiating. Interment to follow in the LaFayette City Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home Saturday from 3 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, from noon until time of service. Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
