Alton Stewart

Alton (Heavy) Stewart Sr., 68, passed away July 15, 2017. Born April 2, 1949, and retired from Mountain City Country Club. He was preceded in death by his mother, Missouri Stewart; daughter, Lisa Jones Craddox; sisters, Dorothy Vines, Joise Cutwright; brother, Henry Louis Stewart. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Ernestine Wynn Stewart; sons, Alton Stewart Jr. and Darrell (Sherry) Stewart, Ernest (Mary) Wynn Sr.; daughters, Tiffany Sands, Vickie (Stacy) Wilbanks, Arnita Wynn, of Summerville, Ga., Celestine Wynn, Keosha Anderson, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Vanessa Sexton, Valencia Sexton; brothers, James Stewart, of Riverside, Calif., and Lonnie Stewart; sisters, Tammy Dillard and Agnes Bumpass, of Antioch, Tenn., and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017, at 1 p.m. in the chapel. The body will lie-in-state after noon and family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Interment: Highland Cemetery.
