Cleo Almon

DALTON — Cleo Leslie Almon, 53, departed this life Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at her home. Cleo was born Nov. 22, 1963, in Lafayette, Ga., the daughter of the late Bennie Carrenthers. Cleo spent many years working in the nursing homes in Dalton, giving care and comfort to each person. Ms. Cleo Leslie Almon is survived by her mother, Anna Bell Almon; son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Brittany Almon, of Dalton, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Johanna and Shawn Wright, of Anderson, S.C.; stepgrandson, Giovanni Wright, of Gainesville, Ga.; and special friend, Carol Hatfield. A celebration of life will be held, Saturday July 22, 2017, at 1 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Elder Kenneth Cooper officiating.
