Frances Tucker

Frances Vaughn Tucker, 90, of Chattanooga, went home on Friday, July 21, 2017. A devoted Christian lady, Mrs. Tucker was a former member of Ridgeview Baptist Church and had been a member of Lupton Drive Baptist Church for the past 19 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, William D. Tucker; parents, Earl Emory and Ada Davis Vaughn; brother, Earl Emory Vaughn Jr., and two sisters, Virginia Close and Louise Newton. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Tonja (Neil) Kenemer, of Memphis, Tenn., Samuella (William H.) Miles, of Brentwood, Tenn. and Linda (Darryl) Hibdon, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; grandson, William F. (Gwen) Miles; great-grandchildren, Davin, Reagan and Lucy Miles; as well as a special caregiver, Pat Morris, to whom the family extends their deep appreciation and love. A graveside service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Randy Bell and Rev. Roger DeHart officiating. Bill Christison, Eddie Close, William F. Miles and Ronnie McJunkin will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, from 10 a.m. until noon at Hamilton Funeral Home, Hixson.
