Sheila Woodward

Sheila D. Woodward, 59, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away Wednesday morning, July 26, 2017, at home surrounded by loved ones. Sheila was born on May 23, 1958, in Chattanooga, Tenn., to Mann and Shirley Hawkins. She went on to have three beautiful children and marry the love of her life, Wendell Woodward. During their 19 years of marriage, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, karaoke, and dirt track racing. She was a dedicated Christian and loved the Lord with all her heart. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Hawkins; and grandmother, Louise Yoder. Survivors include her husband, Wendell; children, Tonya Waddell, Andrea Prak (Paul) and David Vickers (Hannah); grandchildren, Morgan and Katie Waddell and Autumn and Brandon Prak; sister, Sheri Coleman; brother, Jamie Hawkins; and several extended family. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Saturday at Lane Funeral Home, Chattanooga, TN with Minister Ken Chambers officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
