Mitchell Brogdon

Mitchell Brogdon, 62, of Ooltewah, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017. A lifelong resident of the Ooltewah area, he was of the Church of God faith and was preceded in death by his parents, Mark Brogdon and Susie Oliver Brogdon Gray; and a brother, Marlon “P nut” Brogdon. Survivors include his daughter, Misty Dawn Catchings; his siblings, Doris (Leroy) Adams, Sharon (Damon) Wiley, Charlene (Pete) McCorkle, Jackie (Vickie) Brogdon and Kimberly (Steve) West; Step-father, Lester Gray; lifelong friend Johnny Belcher and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, in the Valley View Chapel with the Rev. Donald Oliver officiating. Interment will be in Ooltewah Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. till 8 p.m. today, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
