Roy Maxwell

ROSSVILLE — Roy Jackson Maxwell, 61, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 17, 2017. He was of the Baptist faith. Roy was an avid outdoorsman loved fishing and spending time with family and his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Roy Lee and Patsy Love Maxwell; one sister, Sue Wire; one brother, John R. Maxwell; granddaughter, Madison Leigh Maxwell. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy McCormack Maxwell; son, Jeremy (Susan) Maxwell; daughter, Anne Maxwell; stepsister, Kimmie Maxwell; two stepbrothers, Zackery and Shan Maxwell; two grandchildren, Sarah and Johnathan Maxwell; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends today, June 19, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, June 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Keith James officiating. Interment will follow.
