Amy Parker

JASPER — Amelia Dawne “Amy” Dobson Parker, 48, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017. She was a 1986 graduate of Marion County High School and was a member of Jasper First Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and wife and enjoyed cooking and crafts. She is survived by her husband, Randall Parker; children, Meghan (James) Cooper, and Andrew (Felicia) Parker; parents, Tommy and Sissy Dobson; brother, Josh Dobson; sister, Abby (Travis) Shields; grandchildren, Ella, Jack and Hannah Cooper, Lily Parker, and Chance Patrick; father and mother-in-law, Larry and Peggy Parker; brothers-in-law, Rick (Lynn) Parker and Rusty Parker; and her “adopted” son, Kyle Evans. Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Friday, March 17, 2017, at 3 p.m. with Rev. David Clay and Rev. Greg Steele officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be today, March 16, from 5 to 8 p.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. before the service on Friday at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper.
