Robbie Shipman

RINGGOLD — Robbie Lee Gilbert Shipman, 63, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017. A lifelong resident of the Catoosa area, she was a former employee of The Catoosa County School System, where she drove a bus for 18 years and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Helton and Kathleen Rosebud Dean Gilbert; sister, Agnes Bartlett; and brother, Dennis Gilbert. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Brandi Shipman, of Ringgold, Ga.; sister, Linda Painter, of Ringgold, Ga.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017, in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Nicholas Bivens officiating. Interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends today, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, until funeral time at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold, Ga.
