Virginia Creel

Virginia Creel, 84, a resident of Ooltewah, Tenn., passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at her home. Virginia was a previous employee of the Collegedale Credit Union and a member of the Collegedale Seventh-day Adventist Church. She was a loving mother and friend and will be dearly missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Creel. Virginia leaves behind to cherish her memory, her two sons, David Creel and William “Billy” Creel; sister, Betty Dowell (Thomas) as well as a niece, nephew, extended family, and friends. A celebration of life service is planned for 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 9, 2017, in the upstairs chapel of the Collegedale Seventh-day Adventist Church, located at 4829 College Drive, with Pastor Cherie Smith officiating the service. There will be a graveside service following in the Collegedale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made either to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
