Lila Watson

Lila Jean Watson, 88, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, in a local healthcare facility. Mrs. Watson, a native of Harrison, was born on May 27, 1928 to the late Horace and Myrtle Hodge. She was Baptist by faith and enjoyed spending time with her family, being a housekeeper and shopping. She was also preceded in death by her late husband, James O. Watson; daughter, Wilma Hodge; two brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her son, Garry Watson; two grandchildren; three brothers, Harold, Grady (Mary), and Tommy (Vickie) Hodge; and two sisters, Katherine (James) Borlen and Doris Hodge. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park, with Pastor Richard Kennett and Rev. Gary Shirley officiating.
