Crystal Haswell

ROSSVILLE — Crystal Mauldin Haswell, 38, went to be home with her Lord and Savior and won her 14-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis on Saturday, April 29, 2017. Crystal was a 1997 graduate of Lakeview High School and loved working on cars. She worked at Dietz Body Shop and Wal-Mart. She was a member of Gospel Way Baptist Church. Special “Thank you” to Stacey and Rachel in the MIC unit and the entire staff of Memorial Hospital for the loving care that was given. She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Mauldin; sister, Jackie Mauldin; grandmothers, Erma Harris and Lucy Burgess Mauldin; grandfather, Owen Harris; uncle, John Mauldin and brother-in-law, Danny Dietz. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Beth Mauldin; brother, Donnie (Amy) Mauldin; sisters, Starla Dietz and Trina (Mike) Keith; four nephews; two nieces; three great-nephews and several cousins. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Ricky Gravely officiating. Interment will follow in the Granny Walker Cemetery, Soddy-Daisy, Tenn. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday beginning 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
