Guy Boland

WILDWOOD — Guy Boland, 86, went to be with the Lord on Monday May 22, 2017. He was retired from Combustion Engineering after 40 years of Service and enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, fishing , camping and woodworking. Mr. Boland was a faithful member of Falling Water Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Preceded in death by his son, Terry Boland; parents, Barto and Mable Boland; brother, Dupree Boland; sister, Reba Crawford. Surviving include his loving wife of 18 years Hilda Boland, of Wildwood, Ga.; son, David Boland, of Ooltewah; son, Keith Boland, of Wildwood, Ga.; daughter, Lisa (James) Bol, of Belvidere, Tenn.; daughter, Marsha (Stan) Hicks, of Chattanooga; five grandchildren, Amber King, Kelly Sherlin, Jake Bol, Jimmy Bol, Jessica Bol; six great-grandchildren; sister, Rachel Louise (Andrew) Quarles; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 25, 2017, in the chapel with Rev. Perry Whitaker and Chaplin Ronnie Murdock officiating. Interment will follow in Nixon Chapel Cemetery, Ala., with a graveside service at 2 p.m. est. Family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the Ryan Funeral Home in Trenton, Ga.
