June Bridges

Emma June Bridges, 82, of Hixson, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Arthur and Dorothy Christine Reid Jones Sr.; an infant daughter, Dottie Watson; and a brother, Larry Jones. June is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jim Bridges; daughters, Mary June (Larry) Moon, Cynthia Ann (Kent) Russell, Christi Lea (Andy) Bunch; son, William L. (Roxanne) Watson Jr.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Glenn Averitt, Lettie Sue Wise, and Leslie Ann Jones; brother, Tim Jones; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be at Legacy Funeral Home chapel at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, with Pastor Tim Millsaps officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the service.
