Marvin Salhany

RINCON — Marvin N. Salhany Sr., 90, passed away Nov. 13, 2017, at his residence. Survivors include his wife of over 18 years, Cathy Cruze Salhany, of Rincon; sons, Nick (Beverly) Salhany, of Ringgold, Scott Vogt, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; daughters, Denise Salhany, of Chattanooga, Judi Tompkins, of Atlanta; grandchildren, Michael, Brandon, Candace, Cailyn, Colin, Marissa, Stacy, Grant, and Natalie; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Daisy, Asher, and Camden; several nieces, nephews and hundreds of students/friends who are a part of his family. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18, at the Savannah First Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Joseph Wamack officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service.
