Roy Gardner

Roy Gardner, 70, of Soddy-Daisy, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017. He was preceeded in death by his wife Linda Gardner (Lowe).  He was an avid photographer and drag racing enthusiast. He loved to fly with his son-in-law. He loved to travel and his greatest love outside of his family was watching his daughter play softball. Mr. Gardner was a decorated Vietnam War veteran. He will be missed my many but never forgotten. He is survived by his daughter, Brandy Gardner (Anderson) and son-in-law, Gregory Anderson; his beloved four-legged pup, Pumpkin; his sister-in-laws, Evelyn Spann and Carolyn Hall; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017, at 10 a.m. at National Cemetery. Visitation will be held today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
