Nora Gelnett

ROSSVILLE — Nora Mae Mannerberg Gelnett, 80, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, Oct. 16, 2017. She had lived in the Rossville area for most of her life and was of the Nazarene faith. She was active with the American Legion Battlefield Post # 214 and was previously employed as an Accountant for Roofing & Supply Company. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Stewart Gelnett; and son, Brian Eugene Gelnett. Survivors include her son, Steven Gelnett of Rossville; sisters, Helen Mannerberg and Wilma Myers both of N.Y.; two grandchildren, Jennifer & Reannah Gelnett; three great grandchildren, Achilles, Dominik and William; and numerous extended family & friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 20, 2017 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Keith James officiating. Entombment will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
