Sharla Lackey

ROSSVILLE — Sharla Lee Lewis Lackey, 78, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017. She had lived in the North Georgia area for most of her life and was of the Baptist faith. She was previously employed with 7-Eleven for more than 10 years as the Store Manager and enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Sophie Lewis and husband, John Wayne Lackey. Survivors include her children, Darla Stites, Janet and (John) Pierce, all of Chickamauga, Ga., and Lisa Shrum, of Rossville, Ga.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.
