Vernon Edgeman

TUNNEL HILL — Vernon “Lamarr” Edgeman, 69, passed away Friday. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Clifford and Viola Edgeman. He is survived by sons, Vernon Jr. and Ronald (Freda); grandson, John and Sandy; great-grandson, Adam; special friend, Peggy; sisters, Angie (Gary) Baxter, Rachel (Greg) Hines, Sue (Mark) Hines. Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Sunday from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Tunnel Hill with Rev. Lillard Stringer officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial be made toward funeral expenses. Jones Funeral Home of Tunnel Hill is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
