Allan Dworkin

ROSSVILLE — Allan Larry Dworkin, 67 of Rossville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017. He had lived in the North Georgia area for most of his life and was of the Christian faith. He had worked most of his life as a Truck Driver and retired from RRR Transportation. His true passion in life was driving and seeing the country while making a living for his family. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be truly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his loving wife of more than 37 yrs., Darla Overturf Dworkin of Rossville; children, Charlotte Marie Dworkin-Marshall & (Thom) Marshall of Wicklffe, Ohio, Autumn Dworkin of Rossville, Rebecca Gore & (Billy Moore) of Fort Oglethorpe, and Matthew Dworkin & (Jessica Leavitte) of Chickamauga; brother, Jeff Dworkin of Cary, N.C.; sister-in-law, Pam Coley; 14 grandchildren, Zachery Gore, Preston Dworkin, Katie Shelly, Heidi Edder, Anniston Webb, Manni Dworkin, Sarah Marshall, Lydia Webb, Olyvia Webb, Caydence Loga, Alaunna Vaughn, Levan Dworkin, Billy Moore, Jr. and Waylon Moore; great granddaughter, Mya Grace Dworkin and numerous extended family & friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017 in the funeral home parlor. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
