Joyce Bacon

Joyce Ann Bacon, 75, went home to be with her Lord Saturday, April 21, 2018. She was born August 13, 1942, in Chattanooga to the late John Frank & Cora Ruth Harden. Joyce was a longtime member of Woodland Park Baptist Church. Her brother, John Frank Harden, Jr. preceded her in death. Survivors include her four children and their spouses, Labronda (Shayne) Champion of Chattanooga, Joy (Michael) Owen of Chattanooga, David (Tricia) Bacon of Soddy-Daisy, and Michele (Scott) Murray of McDonald; and Granna to her fourteen grandchildren, Jordan Owen, Trevor Bacon, Sydney Bacon, Hunter Owen, Kayla Mroz, Savannah Champion, Garrett Owen, Sydni Wall, Ben Champion, Daniel Mroz, Emmaline Champion, Jonathan Champion, Jacob Mroz & Nathan Mroz. The family will receive friends Monday, April 23, 2018, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday April 24, 2018, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at 1 p.m. in the North Chapel with Pastor Eddie Ellison officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
