Bridget Nichols

TUPELO, Miss. — Bridget Ann Nichols, 66, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018, at her residence. She was born in Chattanooga, April 29, 1952, to James C. and Anna Ruth Strait Berry. She was a 1970 graduate of East Ridge High School and then received her Associate Degree from Cleveland State Community College where she was a cheerleader. She was also a runner up for Miss Chattanooga in 1970. In 1990, she and her family moved to the Tupelo area. An artist by nature, she enjoyed creating masterpieces out of reclaimed “junk” items, painting, and interior decorating. She was also a talented seamstress, loved being outdoors, working in her garden and singing. Bridget was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and doted over the care of her family. She had a heart for others and could not stand to see others being treated unfairly. Bridget had a strong spirit and was a 15 year breast cancer survivor. She was a member of The Orchard Tupelo.
