Avalon Little

Avalon Little, 95, of Chattanooga, Tenn., passed away on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018. Avalon was a graduate of Central High School, former member and Sunday school teacher at East Ridge Church of Christ, and a long-time member of Signal Mountain Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Hobert and Gladys Wilson; first husband, Isaac Leo Baldwin Jr.; and second husband, Garvin E. Little. She is survived by her son, Ron (Debbie) Baldwin; daughter, Cheri (Randy) Ashby; daughter, Helen (George) Conway; son, Jerry (Frankie) Little; brother, Lamar (Donna) Wilson; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; God daughter, Bonita Walker; and several nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2018, at Lakewood Memorial Gardens South with Minister Greg Nance officiating.
