LAFAYETTE — Larry Anthony “Red” Barfield, age 58, of LaFayette passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Barfield and Nellie Pence Barfield; sisters, Martha Jane Edwins and Annie “Ann” Bell Farmer; and brother-in-law, Kevin Disney. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Karen Barfield; sons, Jeremy Barfield and Josh (Adam) Emmert; sisters, Pauline (Sam) Hogue and Nellie Ann (Eddie) Bugg; brothers, Sonny (Esther) Barfield, Randy (Geneva) Barfield, and Ricky Barfield; grandchildren, Kevin Barfield and Ethan Barfield; sisters-in-law, Tammy Disney and Tracy Disney; brother-in-law, Michael Disney; father-in-law, David Disney; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, December 13th in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel. Interment at Fairview South Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
